 The little city
of Beggs has been celebrating a good old fashioned family get
together since the town itself was established b ack
in 1900 after it was named after "Charles Hoffman Beggs" the Vice
President and Assistant Manager of the St. Louis Missouri and San
Francisco
Railroad Co. who surveyed the railroad coming through Oklahoma.
Beggs is just 25 minutes south of Tulsa, OK.
The festivals
have changed and evolved through the years, but theirs one thing
that has remained the same. A down home, old-fashioned, fun
for the whole family annual celebration.
