In 1989, the Beggs Chamber of Commerce added the "Outhouse race" to the roster of events held during Beggs Family Frontier Days.

The Outhouse Races are still going to date and they are back this year bigger and better than before.

This year there will not only be a race, but an Outhouse Contest.  Those who enter the contest do not have to race unless they choose to.

There will be an Outhouse Parade just before the final winners are announced.


2008 Winner

This year entries will check in at 10:00 and will be on display for visitors to see.  A panel of judges will choose the best outhouse under these following guidelines:

Best Built by following guidelines
Originality
Best use of color scheme
 

There will also be a vote taken for people's choice where visitors can vote on their favorite outhouse.
